Hello!
If you’re interested in knowing a bit more about me, here are some bullet points that will give you a bit more insight into who I am:
- I grew up in the super small town of Pittsfield, Maine, graduating from Maine Central Institute.
- After high school, I wanted to become a writer, so I chose what I considered a more practical degree than English and studied journalism at the University of Maine.
- While there, I worked my way up at the school newspaper, The Maine Campus, ultimately taking the role of Opinion editor while juggling an internship at The Bangor Daily News.
- During my time at The Maine Campus, I wrote a column about how much my mother loves Matt Damon (yes, the actor Matt Damon), and it oddly remains one of my favorites to this day.
- After college, I have worked as a freelance writer, copy editor, marketing and communications specialist, and associate director of media relations.
- I live in Maine with my wife, Hailey, our cats, Minga and Deputy Dewey, and our dog Roswell.
